Thriller Charleston Offshore Tour

Enjoy the wind and sun in your face as you speed through Charleston Harbor toward the Atlantic Ocean aboard the THRILLER, a 55-foot power catamaran and Charleston’s only public off-shore tour boat. This one-hour, 30-mile fun ride takes you south along the South Carolina coastline to the Morris Island Lighthouse. Along the way, you’ll view five historic forts dating from the Revolutionary and Civil Wars and two lighthouses, and be entertained by a lively mix of narration and rock music. If it's a windy day, you will get wet! The back of the boat almost always gets some spray so dress appropriately. Sunglasses are highly recommended.

June - August is our busy season and walk ups are always welcome and will be seated on a first come, first serve basis if we have seats available. For the other months, we do require reservations. If we do not have reservations for a tour time, we will not be down at the boat waiting for walk ups and the boat will not go out. Be sure to book ahead.

PVC rain coats, Adult size Large, are available for purchase with a ticket online or at the boat if you are concerned about how wet. Cost is $6/each and are black with a yellow thriller logo, draw string hood, and snap closures. If bought online, rain coats will be waiting at the boat and given to you at check in.

Thriller is located on historic Shem Creek in Mount Pleasant, just in front of Vickery's Bar & Grill. 1313 Shrimp Boat Lane, 29464.
